My Work
Hi! I'm Jude Stringfellow, a Scottish-American author from the Great State of Oklahoma! I have written several books, including a memoir about my famous dog Faith, a poetry book, blog books, and soon there will be children's books as well. I hold a Ph.D. in Administration of Higher Education and am privileged to have been an English professor, a classroom teacher, and owned my own insurance business for a while. I spend most of my time writing, reading, rescuing animals, and traveling. I have three amazing kids, Reuben, Laura, and Caity. I blog about them all the time. I hope you enjoy what you read and what you find out about me.
FYI
Being a Southern woman, I often rely on my Southern manners and charm, which my writing shows. Don't get me wrong, I'm very stubborn, confident, and always positive; friends say they don't like me much in the morning! I can be found volunteering at the local animal shelters, rescuing horses from slaughterhouses and bad situations, rehabbing and rehoming them with my daughter Laura's help. I have two awesome grandkids, too, and I try to spend as much time as possible with them.
